How Ladybug Finds Got Started
Ladybug Finds began as a weekend thrifting habit and grew into a full resale shop. Here's the story of how a love of secondhand treasures turned into a small business run out of our home.
From a weekend habit to a real shop
Ladybug Finds didn't start with a business plan. It started with a Saturday-morning thrift run, a trunk full of "too good to leave behind" finds, and a closet that was rapidly running out of room.
What began as a hobby quickly became something more. Friends kept asking where we found things, and we realized there was a real joy in matching a pre-loved piece with the person who would actually use it. So we opened up shop.
What we believe in
- Good things deserve a second life. Most of what we sell is in excellent condition and just needs a new home.
- Honesty over hype. Every listing describes the real condition, flaws and all.
- Fair prices. We price to sell, not to gouge. More on that in a future post.
